After many performances at the Vienna State Opera over the last 20 years, Argentinian tenor Marcelo Alvarez is finally back in Vienna - for an extraordinary concert!
Since the beginning of his career, Vienna has always had a special place in Marcelo Alvarez's heart. He has played his greatest roles there (Cavaradossi, Werther, Don José ...; at the Opera Ball), but he has never given a concert ... until now!
He will perform opera arias by Puccini, Massenet etc. The second part will be dedicated to zarzuela and Argentinian tango, a repertoire that he particularly loves and cultivates with enthusiasm.
The Argentinian Marcelo Álvarez is one of the most sought-after tenors internationally. His great talent, discovered by Giuseppe Di Stefano, led him to Europe, where he made his debut in La sonnambula on Teatro La Fenice in Venice.
