G'schichten aus der Leopoldstadt: A music walk
Baritone Adrian Eröd, Daniel Auner on the violin and Andrea Linsbauer on the piano present a musical portrait of the places where Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert worked at Palais Augarten, as well as the homes of the young Johannes Brahms and the Strauss dynasty in the "Hirschen-Haus" on Taborstraße. Afterwards, there is a detour to the birthplaces of Arnold Schönberg and Alexander Zemlinsky as well as to the Carmelite neighbourhood and the birthplace of Fritz Kreisler.
The programme concludes with operetta and waltz melodies. (FALTER)
