Taiwan in connection with the accordion is largely unknown in Europe. In fact, there is an extremely active accordion scene there.

Vinzent Tsai is the face of this scene. After studying in Italy, France and Austria, the musician is now a regular guest at concert halls in Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, China and Korea.

Vincent Tsai has numerous CD productions to his name and is the organiser and host of accordion festivals and workshops. His repertoire ranges from classical music to jazz, chanson, tango and world music.

Together with students, he makes his debut in Vienna. Their programme gives an insight into the current accordion music scene in Taiwan.
