Gottes Zeit ist die allerbeste Zeit, BWV 106: 2a (Transcr. Kurtág for 4 hands, Yoshio Owaki and Claire Meissner-Bernard)

Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert etc. knew a different Vienna - a Vienna in which several professional groups were also well-trained musicians and shared the musical scene with professional musicians.
This piano recital brings together three musicians from different backgrounds. Claire Meissner Bernard is a neuroscientist in Paris, Vera-Lise K. Ihm is an employee of the City of Vienna and heads the Epidemiological Wastewater Monitoring department. Both are prizewinners of international piano competitions for amateur pianists and regularly play at international amateur festivals. Yoshio Owaki is a répétiteur at the Anton Bruckner Private University Linz and the Leopold Mozart Centre at the University of Augsburg. He regularly performs as a soloist and chamber musician in Japan, Germany, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Austria.

"We want to get the message across that it is worth investing in the music education of children and adults in the long term - even if the goal is not to become a professional musician. Music knows no boundaries"

Organised by Claire Meissner Bernard and Vera-Lise K. Ihm and Yoshio Owaki. Further information on the topic from Prof Günther Noll on the side of the Forum of Salzburg Folk Culture. Admission: Free donation.
