Since its reopening after renovation, the Ehrbar Saal has stood for innovation, cultural exchange, diversity and further development.

This is also what our New Year's concert stands for.

2024 with the 1st New Year's concert of female composers begins, further developed to New Year's Concert of the Composers 2025performed by the newly founded ensemble La Philharmonica: the New Year's Concert 2026 will also be characterised by progress. We are delighted that Andrea Götsch, member of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestrathat New Year's concert of the composers 2026 will revolutionise her as a conductor.
Strong artistic synergies have developed between Andrea Götsch and Cathrin Chytil, which have characterised the creation of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra have inspired us. The new house orchestra plays for you in the honourable New Year's Eve concert will feature music by composers under the direction of chief conductor Andrea Götsch. In addition, pianist Mitra Kotte will welcome in the New Year with you on the C. Bechstein concert grand piano.
