Fábia Rebordao, one of Portugal's most sought-after artists, is teeming with projects, including an upcoming collaboration with Madonna.
As the grandniece of Amália Rodrigues, the queen of fado, Fábia carries the family legacy and at the same time brings her own talent to the table. Soul, jazz, blues, bossa nova, so many influences characterise her interpretation and give this traditionally sad and melancholy music an uplifting touch of freshness and modernity.
Her career as an artist, which began at the age of 15, took a decisive turn when she performed on the stage of the legendary Carnegie Hall in New York. Since then, she has travelled the world for her concerts and also writes and composes many of her songs. |
