The Viennese pianist Mitra Kotte returns to the Ehrbar Saal with a piano recital. This season, she will be performing at the Philharmonie Luxembourg , in the Vienna Musikverein and in the Munich House of Artists . Her debut album was released in 2025 Herstory at the label Genuin classics - a critically acclaimed recording of works by female composers of the 19th and 20th centuries. For the 2025/26 season, she was selected as a soloist for the international The New Austrian Sound of Music of the Austrian Foreign Ministry.
Since her debut in the Vienna Musikverein In 2015, she travelled to numerous countries in Europe, Asia and the USA as a soloist and chamber musician. Mitra Kotte has been a guest at the International Bruckner Festival Linz , Festival Ljubljana , Dialogues Salzburg , Chopin Festival Gaming , Liszt Festival Raiding the Upper Austrian Abbey Concerts as well as in concert halls such as the Tonhalle Zurich , Dublin National Concert Hall , Congress Innsbruck , The Glasshouse Gateshead , CSO Ankara and Burghof Lörrach . In the 2024/25 season, she performed with the Tyrolean Symphony Orchestra Innsbruck and made a guest appearance at the Septembre Musical Montreux-Vevey , Palermo Classica , Accademia Filarmonica Romana , the Carinthian Summer and in the Vienna Concert Hall and in the Vienna Musikverein .
A concert evening with works by Georg Friedrich Händel, Franz Schubert, Vítězslava Kaprálová, Nadia Boulanger and Maurice Ravel. A journey through over 200 years of piano music - multi-layered, rich in contrast and transcending time.
