Miso Jeon was born in Changwon and is recognised as an artist who develops her own musical language with deep sensitivity and a clear artistic approach. Her playing combines emotional depth, the finest phrasing and a nuanced sound - always in the service of the work to which she devotes herself with the utmost dedication.
She made her international debut in 2010 in the renowned Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York. Shortly afterwards, she won first prize in the instrumental category of the prestigious KNN competition in Korea, which led to numerous concert engagements and radio appearances.
She completed her master's degree in piano pedagogy at the Graduate School of Sookmyung Women's University in Seoul, where she also devoted herself intensively to the subject of accompaniment - an education that emphasises her musical versatility. She is currently studying for a doctorate at Changwon University, where she is devoting her dissertation to the complete works of Frédéric Chopin's Etudes, Op. 10 and Op. 25, with a particular focus on their interpretative depth and structural analysis.
Miso Jeon is a musician with a clear artistic profile that has matured through years of reflective work. Her performances are characterised by a narrative power that directly touches the audience.
The solo recital in Vienna marks a significant moment on her artistic path - as the start of a new stage in her international concert career.
