THE INSTITUTE FOR VOCAL AND MUSICAL THEATRE at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna is home to classes for opera, song and oratorio.
Around 150 students are enrolled at the institute, for whom regular presentations in front of a larger audience are an important educational factor and therefore part of their training - because there is a big difference between performing an aria or a song in a small practice room and presenting yourself in a large auditorium.
