La Philharmonica perform in different formations and with guests, such as on this occasion as a quartet with Barbara Rodio as a guest on the viola.
The ensemble La Philharmonica consists of six top musicians from the ranks of the Vienna Philharmonic, who come together in an exciting combination of string and woodwind instruments. Based on their orchestral music-making tradition, their repertoire ranges from classical Viennese dance music to jewels of opera literature and excursions into the world of film music and other genres. The six ladies combine Viennese sound culture, virtuosity and unbridled musical joy in their own "La Philharmonica style".
