The MUK gala concert series in the Ehrbar Saal is curated by MUK Institute Directors Jean Beers (keyboard instruments, music direction and composition) and Livia Sellin (string instruments and chamber music). Students who have been honoured as "Best of" winners in internal university competitions will present a multifaceted evening with a "bouquet of flowers" of selected works of world classical music - from treasures of past eras to contemporary compositions. The audience is invited to be enchanted by the sonority of the solo and chamber music literature and to immerse themselves in the wonderful acoustics of the hall. The acoustic perspective changes again and again: the combination of historical masterpieces with new music opens up exciting perspectives and makes the concert evening a unique listening experience.
