The dissenting voices declare human rights:

Yes, of course we are glad that they exist and that we can refer to them.

But that can't stop us from embarking on a search in our new programme: We are looking for the usefulness of these floridly declared, permanently broken, bent and mutilated rights, which are supposed to be as innate to us humans as the navel.

And for opportunities to stand up for them and fight for them against all odds.

In well-known and completely new settings, especially by our choir director Monika Lang, we will explore these and many other questions with texts by Bert Brecht, Olympe de Gouges, Matthias Claudius, Bruce Springsteen, Georg Kreisler and many other people across the decades and centuries.

We counter questions of international law with international songs from the left.

And who would be better suited to provide us with a declaration of love for the people, a declaration of war on the situation and even a declaration of human rights than the popular explainer bear known from radio and television?
