HMD is a wind orchestra based in Dudelange, in the south of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. As one of the country’s leading amateur wind ensembles, HMD boasts a diverse repertoire ranging from arrangements of classical works to big band and jazz, as well as pieces featuring various soloists. The orchestra’s 70 amateur musicians and their conductor form a modern and dedicated ensemble. Each member – whether playing woodwind, brass, or percussion – contributes their personal touch to the variety and exceptionally high quality of the programs.
