Giacomo Franci, Italian pianist and conductor based in New York, is the founder and musical director of the orchestra The New York Chamber Players. He is known for his complete recordings of the piano works of Aaron Copland and Igor Stravinsky. With these recordings, he has made a significant contribution to the appreciation of the repertoire of these composers in the contemporary music world.
In Passione e Amore Giacomo Franci combines different eras and styles in a pianistic programme that explores the expressive depths of the instrument, combining moments of intense introspection, virtuoso brilliance and fine lyricism.
