Fides Quartett: Fides, Latin for "faith, trust, loyalty" - these are key concepts for the young quartet at the beginning of their chamber music training and professional career. The belief that it is worth walking a path together and the trust that value is only maintained and fulfilled by walking.
Since its foundation in 2022, the string quartet has been learning with great success in the chamber music specialisation class of Prof. Alexander Pavlovsky, the first violinist of the international and highly acclaimed Jerusalem Quartetat the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz.
Two rousing debut concerts in the 2023/24 concert season in Slovenia and Vienna were the starting signal for the ensemble's exciting development. Since then, the quartet has been a regular guest at local chamber music concerts and festivals. The Fides Quartet Part of the chamber music cycle Reflections at the University of Art and Design Graz, part of the festival concert of the Young Academy Styria and part of the Vienna festival weekend Honourable nights In addition to their professional concert activities, the young musicians are also involved in charity concerts in retirement homes or in the Rotary Club Graz.
