The Duo Delirium was formed in Belgium from the union of the Belgian-Swiss pianist Marie-Astrid Wybou and the German-Austrian pianist Bernhard Jan. The duo performs works with a focus on 20th century music and can look back on a busy concert schedule at home and abroad, including in the large hall of the Conservatoire de Bruxelles and at the Ehrbar Saal in Vienna. It can also be heard at numerous music festivals (including Vienna Piano Summer Festival, Musicorum Belgium). On this concert evening, the virtuoso boundaries of late romanticism and modernism will be explored, beginning with a classic of literature for two pianos: the Sonata in D major by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
