The Duo Delirium was formed in Belgium from the union of the Belgian-Swiss pianist Marie-Astrid Wybou and the German-Austrian pianist Bernhard Jan. The duo performs works with a focus on 20th century music and can look back on a busy concert schedule at home and abroad, including in the Great Hall of the Conservatoire de Bruxelles and the Großer Ehrbar Saal in Vienna. It has also performed at numerous music festivals (including the Vienna Piano Summer Festival and Musicorum Belgium). This concert evening will explore the virtuoso boundaries of late romanticism and modernism, beginning with a classic of literature for two pianos: the Sonata in D major by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
