A fantastic vocal pedagogue, Svetlana Egorova teaches at the Vano-Saradzhishvili State Conservatory in Tbilisi and has been training generations of gifted singers for many years, supplying them to the international opera scene. Her unique methods and sensitivity to vocal work make her students perfect representatives of both the great Georgian vocal tradition and opera singing at the highest level.
A dozen Georgian opera singers will take to the stage to create an unforgettable evening. Some of them are travelling directly from Tbilisi for the occasion, and some of them are already under contract with major opera houses in France, Germany and Austria, for example.
An evening dedicated to music, to the beauty of the voice. Georgia is more than ever an example of the new East-West conflict and the endeavours of a nation that is culturally and ideologically at the gates of the EU.
