PROFESSOR TAMARA ATSCHBA

THE EASTER MASTERCLASSES PIANO AND CHAMBER MUSIC

Professor Tamara Atschba welcomes motivated students, young artists and adult musicians or chamber music groups who are interested in taking part in her Easter masterclasses - piano and piano chamber music.

What can you expect? Intensive lessons, solo and chamber music experience, including a final concert in the exclusive atmosphere of the Ehrbar Hall - on a beautiful C. Bechstein concert grand piano. Encounters and exchanges between international participants in an extraordinary environment.

Described by BBC***** as an "unrivalled, inspired pianist", Tamara Atschba has been playing and teaching all over the world since 1995. Together with the French violinist Louise Chisson, she founded the Esperus Summer Music Academy in Monpazier, France and became Vice President of the Esperus Art Fund, later also President of the Esperus Concerts Association in Vienna. The book "Georgian - German Faces and Names" contains a detailed report on her as a pianist and music teacher ("Professor of Music from Georgia"). She works at the University of Music and Performing Arts and at the Schubert Conservatory in Vienna. Many of her students are prizewinners of international competitions and successful concert pianists. Her latest album "20th Century feminine", released by Hänssler Classic, won a Golden Diapason in France and was nominated for the Grammy Awards® and the German Record Critics' Award 2021.
