The duo Proyecto Chamber by the Mexican musicians Denise M. Reynoard and Helir Hernández presents the programme Capricho Mexicano presents a collection of Mexican chamber music repertoire for voice and piano, mainly from the 20th century. The selected works are examples of the search for Mexican musical identity and the aesthetic explorations of various composers such as Manuel M. Ponce, Blas Galindo and María Grever. In addition, the intimate salon music pieces presented here emphasise the connection between Mexican music and poetry.
