Spanish pianist Alejandro Picó-Leonís opens the programme with late piano pieces by Franz Schubert.
In the second part, the Wiedner Klaviertrio plays a masterpiece of chamber music, Franz Schubert's Piano Trio No. 2 in E flat major. The young Austrian violinist Julian Walder, multiple winner of renowned competitions, the Italian cellist and gambist Maddalena del Gobbo, who has already released recordings with Deutsche Grammophon, and Alejandro Picó-Leonís on the piano will make their debut at the Schubertiade Wieden.
