A musical look into the future of the accordion

It has now become a fine tradition for us to present young accordionists at the afternoon concert in the beautiful Ehrbar Saal.

Numerous talents will be heard who are learning the instrument as part of accordion lessons with Ingrid Eder, Bojana Popovicki, Brigitte Rieger, Daniel Stratznig, Adolf Wutscher and Miloš Todorovski at the music schools of the City of Vienna. The pupils, children and young people, will perform as soloists, in chamber music ensembles and as an accordion orchestra. They offer a colourful programme of old and new music - tango, musette, pop, folk, film music ... Performances include Johann Sebastian Bach, Domenico Scarlatti, John Williams, Richard Galliano and Astor Piazzolla.
