In the final concert of the series, the clarinet as a chamber music instrument is given a new colour on the one hand, while on the other, Viennese chamber music in the broader sense comes into focus: works by the "Viennese by choice" Ludwig van Beethoven and Johannes Brahms as well as the clarinet quartet by the Viennese composer Walter Rabl, protégé of Johannes Brahms, conclude the season.
