THE Musical Advent Calendar opens its fourth door in the Kleine Ehrbar Saal: the song duo "mina mas" tells the story of the challenges of a female read person in the 21st century in their song cycle "Risse. A Condensation", the song duo "mina mas" tells of the challenges of a person read as a woman in the 21st century. Historical songs by traditional composers are combined with innovative original compositions and improvisations. In the interdisciplinary and low-threshold song recital "Risse", the classically trained song duo "mina mas" treats the historical form of song with respect. At the same time, it is brought into the present, critically scrutinised and commented on. The rigid role models, the basis of many art songs, are deliberately not reinforced, but softened and scrutinised. The traditionally passive lyrical ego breaks out of the old categorisations of female, young and beautiful and becomes active, multi-faceted and uncomfortable.
