JIWON JUNG Piano
The pianist Jiwon Jung is praised for his meticulous interpretation and impressive stage presence, among other things.
He won 2nd prize and the Young Jury Prize at the Zhuhai International Mozart Competition for Young Musicians and won the Denis Matsuev Prize at the Grand Piano Competition received. Jiwon Jung has worked with the Salzburg Chamber Soloists, the Russian State Academic Symphony Orchestra "Evgeny Svetlanov" and the KBS Symphony Orchestra to name but a few, and worked with leading conductors such as Antoni Wit, Massimo Zanetti, Alexander Sladkovsky and many others.
Jiwon Jung is with the Festival International de Musique de Dinard, at the Music in Pyeongchang Festival and many other leading festivals and has performed in leading concert halls such as the Gasteig (Munich), the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, the L'Auditori (Barcelona), the Seoul Arts Centre played.
