BORN in 1999, Jérémie Moreau began playing the piano at the age of 7 under the guidance of Françoise Ragon, in parallel with intensive training in classical dance, which he eventually abandoned in favour of music.

He studied with Anne Lise Gastaldi at the CRR and entered the CNSM de Paris in 2015, where he joined Denis Pascal's class. In 2018, he graduated with a Bachelor's degree and received a first prize and unanimous recognition from the jury. He is regularly advised and mentored by Bruno Rigutto and takes part in masterclasses with renowned pianists such as Daniel Barenboim, Jean-Françoise Heisser (Académie Ravel and Académie de Villecroz) and Nicholas Angelich.

In 2018, he won the Les Virtuoses du Coeur competition and played the first Shostakovich concerto in Aix-en-Provence. He performs at various festivals, including Piano aux Jacobins in Toulouse, Lisztomanias in Chateauroux, the Chopin Festival in Bagatelle and Nohant, Classique au Port in La Rochelle, Sommets-Musicaux de Gstaad and Les Pianissimes in Paris.

He performs regularly in chamber music ensembles, especially with his siblings. He has performed at the Seoul Art Centre, the Orangerie Sceaux, the Flâneries Musicales in Reims, the Festival de Saint Denis, La Roque d'Anthéron and the Boulez Saal in Berlin. Together with his brothers David and Edgar, he played Beethoven's Triple Concerto with the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine under the direction of Victor Jacob.

Jérémie Moreau interpreted Schumann's Kinderszenen on a CD by the Archives du Festival de Nohant, which was released by Soupirs Editions in 2017 and received the "Choc Classica". In 2020, Warner Classics Erato released the Moreau siblings' first album, which includes works by Erich Wolfgang Korngold and Antonin Dvorak.

Since September 2018, he has been studying with Sir András Schiff at the Barenboim-Said Academy in Berlin and has been nominated for the Victoires de la Musique Classique 2022 in the category "Instrumental Soloist Revelation".

Building Bridges, Sir András Schiff's exclusive mentoring programme, is supported by the Melinda Esterházy de Galantha & C. Bechstein Foundation.
