In our series of JKO ChamberConcerts, this time we are focussing on the chamber music of Franz Schubert. With the "Trout Quintet", the young, high-calibre ensemble performs one of Schubert's most popular chamber music works. The octet is a milestone in Schubert's oeuvre, directly following in the footsteps of Beethoven's Septet op. 20. Of course, a Schubert evening should not be without songs, which will be performed by the young, up-and-coming soprano Katharina Wegscheider.
