THE CHAMBER ORCHESTRA LYRA VIENNA"KLW", under the baton and artistic direction of Nicolas Radulescu, consists of 32 academic musicians. It works in close co-operation with the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna/mdw. In accordance with its statutes, the "KLW" promotes exceptionally talented students, gives them the opportunity to play concerts with and without orchestra, accompanies them through their studies and many of them can already be found in orchestras such as the Vienna Philharmonic, the State Opera, the Tonkünstler:innen, but also in international orchestras. Others are already travelling as independent soloists. IT'S EXCITING TO SEE, how exceptionally talented students develop from concert to concert into internationally recognised soloists.
