KlavierTotal is a four-part concert series that showcases the versatility of piano playing. Each concert sheds light on different perspectives of music - as a composer, as a musician and as a performer.
Laughter allowed - and expressly encouraged! Martin and Vasil Ivanov transform the concert hall into a stage full of musical surprises. Between precise piano artistry and virtuoso duets, the audience experiences humorous scenes in the style of Victor Borge: little mishaps, unexpected twists, playful irritations and charming ideas bring the music to life.
The concert combines seriousness and fun, classical masterpieces and original arrangements that show that music can not only be heard, but also experienced. The Ivanovs tell personal anecdotes, interact with the audience and bring the complexity of two voices to life in a humorous way - a duet that both inspires musically and provides plenty of smiles.
