The four musicians met years ago in Vienna, where they were soon united by the desire and the goal of creating something new and unique in the chamber music scene. The young ensemble pursues new approaches to classical chamber music. The musicians have already been able to work together in various formations in recent years, which has proven to be an ideal prerequisite for musical exchange and goal-oriented rehearsal work. Their musical training has been characterised by institutions such as the ECMA (European Chamber Music Academy) and professors such as Hatto Beyerle (Alban Berg Quartet) and Johannes Meissl (Artis Quartet). The four experienced chamber musicians with performances in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls (including Vienna Musikverein and Konzerthaus, NOSPR Katowice, Megaron Athens, Athenaeum Bucharest, Austrian Cultural Forum New York and many more) and awards at major chamber music competitions (Prague Spring International Competition, Szymanowski International Music Competition and more) now want to pool their knowledge and valuable experience and work together on the broad piano quartet repertoire. In addition to the standard repertoire, their aim is to perform lesser-known pieces as well as new works by young composers in order to contribute to the further development and continued existence of classical chamber music. Last but not least, the musicians are keen to make their music accessible to a wider audience that may not yet have had the opportunity to experience it, and are therefore working on a project that builds on this goal.
